Se invita a los miembros del FSC a participar en una consulta de 30 días sobre el segundo borrador de la Estrategia Global 2021-2026 actualizada del FSC, a partir del 4 de septiembre. Esta consulta incluirá nuevas oportunidades de participación, aunado a una segunda serie de Diálogos sobre la Estrategia Global el 22, 23 y 24 de septiembre de 2020.

Los resultados del tercer circuito de verificación de operaciones (VO) en cadenas de suministro de bambú certificado FSC revelaron que varios titulares de certificados de China representan una grave amenaza para la integridad del sistema de certificación del FSC. Aunque algunos titulares de certificados han hecho declaraciones falsas en sus productos, otros han participado en acciones que significan un riesgo considerable para la integridad y credibilidad del FSC.
