Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) ha decidido desvincularse del grupo de empresas Harita después de que un grupo de expertos externos descubriera que PT. Roda Mas Timber Kalimantan (PT. RMTK), miembro del grupo Harita, había infringido la Política para la Asociación de FSC. Las pruebas demuestran que PT. RMTK violó los derechos de sus trabajadores, tal y como están establecidos en los convenios fundamentales de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT).
El FSC bloqueó a An Viet Phat Energy Co. Ltd (SGSHK-COC-370077) por deliberadamente hacer declaraciones falsas sobre un gran volumen de pellets de madera que vendió en 2020. Un circuito de verificación de operaciones en curso reveló que An Viet Phat Energy elaboró documentos comerciales con declaraciones de FSC 100 % para materia prima no certificada FSC. El material de An Viet Phat Energy se utilizó para fabricar pellets de madera que luego se vendieron con declaraciones FSC 100 %.
