Los miembros proponen mociones para priorizar temas o ideas que son importantes para el desarrollo del FSC. Una moción es una propuesta para cambiar o crear una Política o un Estatuto del FSC mediante la discusión, el debate y la votación de los miembros. Las mociones estatutarias son propuestas para modificar los Estatutos o los Principios y Criterios del FSC. Las mociones de política son propuestas de enmienda a las políticas o a los procedimientos operativos del FSC. Utiliza el filtro para ver las mociones según su status.

El Consejo Directivo del FSC se rige conforme a los estatutos del FSC A.C. para administrar a la organización. El consejo directivo es la entidad de mayor nivel, después de la Asamblea General FSC (autoridad suprema de la organización), para la toma de decisiones en la organización y lo elige la membresía FSC para orientar y supervisar a la organización.
La Reunión Global de Membresía del FSC 2020 presentó una visión general y los aspectos más destacados de los logros alcanzados en 2020, así como las prioridades generales y las principales cuestiones para 2021.
Para acomodar varias zonas horarias y permitir la participación de nuestros miembros de todas las regiones, la sesión se celebró por la mañana y se repitió por la tarde. Ambas sesiones se transmitieron en directo y con el mismo contenido, además de diversos debates.
Más de 400 participantes inscritos procedentes de todo el mundo se unieron a las presentaciones y a los debates posteriores. Pueden encontrar las grabaciones de la reunión y las presentaciones a continuación.
La Asamblea General del FSC de 2022 explorará cómo podemos mantener bosques sanos y resilientes que creen valor y beneficios ambientales, sociales y económicos. Únanse a nosotros para dar forma a soluciones locales y globales de manejo forestal responsable.
La Asamblea General del FSC es el máximo órgano decisorio del FSC y atrae a centenares de participantes de pueblos indígenas, ecologistas, empresas y otros miembros del FSC. La AG se celebra tradicionalmente cada tres años, pero la Asamblea General prevista para 2020 se reprogramó y se dividió en dos partes en la Asamblea General de 2021-2022. La primera parte tuvo lugar de forma virtual en 2021 y la segunda tendrá lugar como en formato híbrido, con componentes presenciales y en línea.
Está previsto que la parte presencial de la Asamblea General del FSC se celebre en Bali (Indonesia). Más información para saber en qué consiste la asamblea general.

Revisions of Forest Stewardship Standards are ongoing, and all existing standards will be transferred to the revised Principles & Criteria version 5-2. All standards are valid until replaced by a new Forest Stewardship Standard.

FSC Remedy Framework defines permanent and effective measures required for remedy of harm caused by unacceptable activities as defined by the Policy for the Association of Organizations with FSC V2-0 or by conversion between 1 December 1994 and 31 December 2020.
This guide is intended for organizations that wish to use the FSC trademarks for the promotion of FSC-certified labelled products or services and it replaces the FSC-STD-50-002 'Requirements for promotional use of the FSC trademarks by non-certificate holders' that was withdrawn on 31st May 2020.
Depending on when the unacceptable activity occurs/occurred, FSC will determine which policy version is used as the point of reference. If the unacceptable activity occurred prior to 2023, version 2-0 of the policy will be applied, whereas if the unacceptable activity occurs in 2023 or beyond, version 3-0 of the Policy for Association will be applied. To access Policy for Association, version 2-0, click here . The Policy for Association is an expression of the values shared by individuals and organizations associated with FSC. It defines six unacceptable activities that associated individuals and organizations and their corporate group commit to avoid in both certified and non-certified operations. The Policy for Association serves as a risk management tool for FSC, protecting the credibility and reputation of the FSC brand and organizations associated with it.

The objective of this document is to specify the requirements for FSC-accredited certification bodies for developing Interim National Standard (INS) or Interim Regional Standard (IRS), depending on the geographic scope of the standard, for the certification of responsible forest management and the responsible management of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) at the Management Unit (MU) level. These standards shall be based on the International Generic Indicators (IGI) and shall address the regional, national or sub-national conditions in which they are to be used and shall consider input from local stakeholders. The FSC Board of Directors at FSC International, acting through the Policy Steering Group (PSG) shall approve Interim National Standards (INS) before they can be used for FSC certification purposes. In March 2020 the revised procedure was published to reflect the FSC Board of Directors’ decision during their 82nd meeting to delegate the approval of INS to the Policy Steering Group.
