El primer borrador del Procedimiento FSC de Remediación de Conversiones (FSC-PRO-01-007 V1-0 D1-0) estará disponible para una consulta pública del 1 de abril al 31 de mayo de 2020 y estará accesible aquí.
Una creciente preocupación por la tala de salvamento ilegal en la Federación Rusa dio lugar a que el FSC Rusia iniciara un estudio para evaluar los riesgos de que madera ilegal – en especial madera obtenida ilegalmente a través de la tala de salvamento – ingrese a las cadenas de suministro FSC.

FSC International, el Instituto Federal Suizo de Tecnología de Zúrich (ETH), el Centro Francés de Investigación Agrícola para el Desarrollo Internacional (CIRAD), la Universidad de Liège y Biotope están interesados en escuchar sus perspectivas y opiniones sobre su plan de colaboración para una discusión global sobre bosques de alto valor.
La versión modificada del Estándar Nacional de Manejo Forestal Responsable (ENMFR) del FSC para Suecia es aplicable a todo tipo de bosques, incluyendo bosques pequeños y con manejo de baja intensidad. El estándar entrará en vigor el 1º de octubre de 2020.
El segundo borrador de la Política de conversión de FSC (FSC-POL-01-007 V1-0 D2-0) ya está disponible para someterse a una consulta pública hasta el 16 de febrero de 2020 a la que se puede acceder desde aquí.
