Las notas aclaratorias para implementar las decisiones del Consejo Directivo de FSC y para la modificación de los Estándares de Manejo Forestal Responsable están ahora disponibles.
El FSC ha ampliado hasta el 15 de julio de 2020 el período de consulta sobre el primer borrador de su Estándar Regional de Manejo Forestal Responsable (ERMFR) para Pequeños Propietarios de Asia Pacífico.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) está desarrollando una herramienta para poder llevar a cabo una evaluación de riesgos de las organizaciones que quieran unirse o reincorporarse al sistema FSC, con el fin de asegurar que sus valores están alineados con los de FSC.
El 2º borrador del FSC-STD-30-010 permanecerá abierto a consulta pública hasta el 25 de junio. El FSC invita a todos sus actores interesados a participar en este proceso de consulta, haciendo clic aquí.
Dos acontecimientos importantes han marcado al programa de madera controlada FSC desde nuestra última puesta al día:
- La aprobación de la Estrategia para productos FSC mixtos y madera controlada.
- La aprobación del 70% de todas las evaluaciones FSC de riesgos previstas.
Se anima a los miembros internacionales que representan los intereses de las subcámaras a presentar sus candidaturas para los puestos del comité de políticas y estándares (CPE) vigentes durante un período de cuatro años:
La consulta pública sobre el primer borrador del estándar FSC: Indicadores Genéricos Internacionales para el uso de Pesticidas Altamente Peligrosos se amplia hasta el 30 de abril de 2020.
El Estándar de Manejo Forestal Responsable modificado para Bulgaria incorpora todos los aspectos del los más recientes Principios y Criterios del FSC. El estándar entrará en vigor el 1º de enero de 2025.
