El FSC está llamando a los miembros internacionales a aplicar para asistir al Foro de Soluciones de Intensificación Sostenible (Sustainable Intensification Solution Forum, SISF), del 24 al 26 de junio de 2019 en Bonn, Alemania.
FSC amplía la convocatoria de solicitudes hasta el 14 de abril de 2020. Seguimos buscando candidatos y candidatas para formar un grupo de trabajo técnico que tendrá la labor de desarrollar un sistema de aseguramiento que se apoye en enfoques basados en el riesgo (EBR) para la certificación del manejo forestal. También se encargarán de finalizar la revisión del procedimiento y la guía de enfoques basados en el riesgo.
El 11 de julio tuvo lugar un seminario web para los miembros donde se compartió información y se respondieron preguntas sobre la aplicación de la Moción 23 y los proyectos piloto. Más de 200 miembros se inscribieron y aproximadamente 130 asistieron al seminario web, lo que demuestra el interés de los miembros por las cuestiones relacionadas con los PFIs y la Moción 23.
El FSC ha decidido posponer la Reunión Regional de Membresía de África hasta el segundo trimestre de 2019. Esta decisión se tomó para garantizar que más miembros puedan unirse al evento.
La versión definitiva del Plan de Implementación del FSC ya está disponible en línea. Este documento representa un paso fundamental en la construcción de las estructuras y acciones para crear los cambios que queremos lograr juntos.

El Estándar Nacional Provisional (ENP) del FSC para Austria es aplicable a todo tipo de organizaciones que trabajan en bosques naturales y plantaciones del país, incluyendo bosques pequeños y con manejo de baja intensidad (SLIMF, por sus siglas en inglés). El ENP también es aplicable a productos forestales no maderables (vea la sección “A.2 Alcance” del ENP para obtener más información). El estándar entrará en vigor el 01 de marzo 2023.
