First hour: We will discuss the two remaining prioritized motions.

What is a Motion Pitch Express? A focused space for Policy Motions that were not prioritised for discussion in previous sessions to be heard. The total duration will be 60 minutes.
Each proposer will have 2 minutes to present:
• The problem
• The proposed solution
• The call to action
This presents a unique opportunity to learn about motions and to provide feedback to the proposers in the chat.

We are pleased to announce the launch of a Discussion Forum channel on the first FSC Global Strategy Dialogues and a new subsection with all the outcomes from the first round. Additionally, you can already register for the second FSC Global Strategy Dialogues to be held on 22, 23 & 24 September 2020.
FSC thanks Earthsight and the co-signing NGOs for their open letter dated 25 October 2021 and their ongoing engagement and concern to protect the world’s forests and make them more resilient. We continuously act to strengthen forest stewardship and welcome constructive criticism to improve our system where necessary.
In mid-February 2016, the working group tasked to address Motion 12 of the 2014 Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) General Assembly (GA), held its second meeting in Bonn Germany. The working group, which is currently drafting a policy proposal, aims to consult FSC members about the details in April 2016.
The FSC Remedy Framework is now open for public consultation, until 10 May 2022. FSC looks forward to receiving inputs and suggestions from its stakeholders on ways to improve the efficacy of the FSC Remedy Framework. The Forest Stewardship Council’s (FSC) decision to lift the suspension of Asia Pulp and Paper’s (APP) remedy process marks an important step in ensuring accountability for past environmental and social harms.
