"Motions in Motion" are global membership meetings, providing a dedicated space for cross chamber discussions around all statutory motions and each chamber’s top five policy motions. It is a space for negotiation, merging, refinement, and amendments in relation to secretariat feasibility analyses and members’ feedback.

FSC Members propose motions to prioritize issues or ideas that are important for the development of FSC. A motion is a proposal to change or create an FSC Policy or Statute through member discussion, debate and voting. Submitting a motion is one of the most important actions an FSC member can take. Statutory motions are proposals to amend the FSC Statutes or Principles & Criteria while Policy motions are proposals for amendments to FSC policies or operational procedures.

We are happy to announce that the Implementation Framework 2023 Reporting is now available for FSC members.
According to FSC-PRO-01-001 this conceptual phase enables FSC members and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of key concepts and formulation of key intended outcomes of requirements at the start of the process and before working groups are established.
The FSC Secretariat would like to share key information regarding recent developments on the topic of Intact Forest Landscapes
In 2021, six members of the FSC International Board of Directors will be replaced (or re-elected). FSC International is calling for candidates to nominate themselves by 31 January.
The first FSC Global Strategy Dialogues were held on 21, 22 and 23 July 2020, gathering more than 150+ international members from all regions. Thank you to all who participated!
The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) Board of Directors has decided to hold the next FSC general assembly in Panama City, Panama, from 26–31 October 2025.
With the release of the FSC Global Strategic Plan 2015-2020, FSC is declaring our intention to more than double our share of global forest-based trade in the next five years, to 20 per cent.
