Each proposer will have 2 minutes to present:

• The call to action
This presents a unique opportunity to learn about motions and to provide feedback to the proposers in the chat.

A new update has just been published on the implementation of general assembly motions.
“Supporting responsible forestry” is the new text of the MIX label. The new label will be launched in January 2022 with a transition period of 2.5 years.
The FSC-STD-01-003 SLIMF and Community Forest Eligibility Criteria is open for public consultation from 14 April 2022 to 13 June 2022. This second version of the standard now includes a definition for community forest and increases the flexibility of local adaptation of small or low intensity managed forest (SLIMF) and community forest criteria. The consultation can be accessed here.
As a multi-stakeholder initiative, FSC relies on its diverse array of stakeholders to help ensure the applicability, efficiency, and integrity of our global certification system. We have multiple documents currently available for public consultation that will change key components of FSC and are looking for your input through the FSC Consultation Platform.
FSC has approved two new advice notes to address conflicting legislation and differing interpretations of laws and regulations:
- ADVICE-20-007-21 applies to all certification bodies with FM in their accreditation scope.
- ADVICE-20-011-11 applies to all certification bodies with CoC in their accreditation scope.
FSC is introducing changes to its Policy for Association (FSC-POL-01-004) (PfA). The changes established via version 3 of the PfA (PfA v3) were approved by the Board of Directors of FSC International (in accordance with its statutory authority to issue and define the PfA) and will come into effect on 1 January 2023.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is launching the 2nd public consultation on the revision of FSC-STD-50-001: Requirements for the Use of FSC® Trademarks by Certificate Holders.
