FSC has opened the call for applications to join a working group to revise chain of custody standards based on results from the conceptual consultation. Apply from 11 December to 31 January 2025.
The first ever FSC general assembly took place in 1996 in Mexico and has been held every three years since then, in different parts of the world. The 9th general assembly was postponed from its original date in 2020 and is now taking place in two parts. The first part took place in October 2021 as the first ever virtual general assembly event and the second part will take place in October 2022 as the first hybrid general assembly event in FSC’s history.

FSC is seeking candidates for a technical working group to revise its Forest Management Evaluations Standard (FSC-STD-20-007) and its associated addenda. The call for applicants is open until 20 November 2020.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is delighted to invite you to join its High-Level Conference: Launching FSC’s Global Strategy 2021-2026 – Demonstrating the Value and Benefits of Forest Stewardship, which will take place on 9 December, 2020.
The new round of transaction verification for okoume will cover FSC claims made between 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019. The deadline for certificate holders to submit requested transaction verification data is 29 September 2020.

FSC digital audit reports for forest management are now ready for auditors around the globe to start training on the use of them. Use of the system will become mandatory for all forest management audits conducted from January 2021 onwards.
