Climate Change and Biodiversity
Forests are frontline defenders against climate change and biodiversity loss. Topics in this session will include:
- How FSC standards can strengthen forests' resilience to climate change.

First hour: We will discuss the two remaining prioritized motions.

What is a Motion Pitch Express? A focused space for Policy Motions that were not prioritised for discussion in previous sessions to be heard. The total duration will be 60 minutes.
Each proposer will have 2 minutes to present:
• The problem
• The proposed solution
• The call to action
This presents a unique opportunity to learn about motions and to provide feedback to the proposers in the chat.

We are inviting you to complete a questionnaire to collect feedback and to assess your experiences of the FSC General Assembly 2017.
FSC is seeking candidates for the role of ‘FSC Regional Membership Coordinators’ to support us in the preparation process for the upcoming General Assembly; this includes keeping members informed, supporting/facilitating the motions development and discussion process and galvanizing cross-chamber dialogue.
