
FSC’s General Assembly is a triannual event which brings together several thousand leaders and decision makers from indigenous peoples, environmentalists, businesses, and many others to discuss challenges and solutions for FSC and responsible forest management.
For those that have never attended a General Assembly or are not familiar with how FSC governance works, this webinar provided an introduction to FSC membership, how our governance works, and an overview of the General Assembly, motions and voting.

With the release of the FSC Global Strategic Plan 2015-2020, FSC is declaring our intention to more than double our share of global forest-based trade in the next five years, to 20 per cent.
Members of the Economic chamber of FSC International will meet in Uppsala, Sweden, on January 23-24, to discuss priorities related to the boreal forest and the FSC Global Strategic Plan. The meeting involves members and FSC staff mainly from Canada, US, Sweden, Finland and Russia.

Good news! The Early Bird registration deadline for the FSC General Assembly 2025 has been extended till 31 July — giving you more time to secure your spot at a discounted rate.
The meeting was attended by international members from three countries of the Region together with FSC National offices representatives, where intensification of participation and representation of the regional interests at the global level were discussed.
