The FSC International Board of Directors (BoD) has delegated the approval of some national standards to a new body in the FSC Secretariat and revised the deadline to incorporate the international generic indicators (IGIs) V2-0 into national standards.

The interim national standard for Lao People’s Democratic Republic will become effective on 14 July 2020.
The new standard will contribute to the promotion of responsible forest management and becomes effective on 15 March 2025.
23 July 2020 (Bonn, Germany) – The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) confirms Perechin’s FSC certificate remains terminated.
All stakeholders are invited to participate in the second consultation on FSC Core Labour Requirements. The deadline to take part is 16 July 2020.
