Climate Change and Biodiversity
Forests are frontline defenders against climate change and biodiversity loss. Topics in this session will include:

As you might know, the FSC International Board of Directors has made EUDR one of the top priorities for the whole organization worldwide as they expect this project to have impacts way beyond the European Union.
The webinar was the occasion to provide our members with more background information on this theme. FSC organized 2 identical webinars on 25 October 2023 to discuss FSC and the EUDR.

A revised version of the ADVICE 20-007-20 Implementation of FM Digital Reporting has been incorporated into the FSC-DIR-20-007 FSC Directive on FSC Forest Management Evaluations.
FSC-PRO-30-006 Ecosystem Services Procedure sets out the requirements for FSC-certified forest managers to demonstrate the impact of their activities on the maintenance or enhancement of ecosystem services and improves their access to markets.
