In this session, we launched the agenda for the Motion Discussions in 2022 and we presented the results of the Prioritization Survey for the discussion of FSC Policy Motions 2022.

In both global events, we presented the voting prioritization survey results, the agenda for the launch of the Statutory Requirements, an overview of all the motion discussions in 2020/2021, and the next steps of the motions process. Additionally, members were able to ask questions regarding the upcoming activities towards the Virtual GA 2021.

FSC is pleased to announce that it will not increase the annual administration fee (AAF) in 2021. This is in recognition of the fact that COVID-19 has presented many challenges for all in the FSC system.
The candidates for the Board of Directors (BoD) 2025 election have been announced. As part of the election campaign, we will be hosting two webinars where candidates will present their proposals and engage with members in a Q&A session.
According to FSC-PRO-01-001 this conceptual phase enables FSC members and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of key concepts and formulation of key intended outcomes of requirements at the start of the process and before working groups are established.
The BBC recently reported on allegations against the Korindo Group (Korindo) concerning its oil palm operations in Indonesia. The report referenced the action taken by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) following the FSC Policy for Association complaint made against Korindo in 2017. It also presented new information that alleges Korindo used fire for land clearing.
