First hour: We will discuss the two remaining prioritized motions.

What is a Motion Pitch Express? A focused space for Policy Motions that were not prioritised for discussion in previous sessions to be heard. The total duration will be 60 minutes.
Each proposer will have 2 minutes to present:

• The proposed solution
• The call to action
This presents a unique opportunity to learn about motions and to provide feedback to the proposers in the chat.

After three days of intense deliberations, the FSC International Board of Directors supported, by consensus, a package of documents that define FSC’s approach to tackling conversion and ensuring remedy of past social and environmental harm. This decision was made during the 93rd Board Meeting that took place in Oaxaca, Mexico on 24-26 August 2022.
An updated version of the International Generic Indicators (IGI) (FSC-STD-60-004) aligned with the recently published FSC Principles and Criteria V5-3 and including new IGI for highly hazardous pesticides is published. The related addendum to the Pesticides Policy is available now too.
We are pleased to announce the launch of two new spaces for membership engagement and discussion on the Update of the FSC Global Strategy 2021-2026: A Discussion Forum channel and the FSC Global Strategy Dialogues.
A revised version of the ADVICE 20-007-20 Implementation of FM Digital Reporting has been incorporated into the FSC-DIR-20-007 FSC Directive on FSC Forest Management Evaluations.

The results of the third transaction verification (TV) loop on FSC-certified bamboo supply chains reveal that several certificate holders in China pose a serious threat to the integrity of FSC’s certification system. While some certificate holders have made false claims on their products, others have engaged in actions that pose a significant risk to FSC’s integrity and credibility.
Considering the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, and the fact that the health of our community is our top priority, we believe our only option is to postpone the 2020 FSC General Assembly.
